Recent research has shown that more than 60% of holiday makers now use the Internet to search for their holidays. People no longer rely solely upon Travel Agents, but are choosing to book their accommodation and flights separartely. BuyYourHoliday.com has been built and populated as a fully search engine optimised website, to give your property the best chance of being found by popular online keyword searches.
What’s more we allow you to communicate directly with the holiday maker thus enabling you to build a relationship with a potential customer, and replacing the need for advertisements in publications or developing your own website. Of course, if you would like your own website too, we recommend the services of Gandy-Draper who built and market this website.
How do I list my property with BuyYourHoliday.com?
Simply click the "Sign Up" button which you can find at the top of every page on the site. Fill in the fields, and you will receive an email with a link to confirm your email address. This will then prompt you to log in, which will take you to your control panel. From there you can add as many properties as you own. Thus for each property you add, you will have your own private web page that can be found by thousands of people searching online for holiday accommodation. You can also use this page to promote your property to friends and family by simply sending them the link.
Holiday makers can use the simple search facilities within the site to match their requirements to your property. Using your secure administration area, you can edit and update all of your property information as often as you like, at any time of the day, or day of the year. You will never miss a booking with email alerts to automatically notify you that you have an enquiry. Best of all you only pay when you actually have a booking. Should you have any issues at all our team is always on hand to provide fast and reliable customer service.
How much does it cost?
Currently the site is completely free. Nothing more. No hidden extras. When it reaches an optimum... we will introduce a fee - however this will be a very small amount. €20 per property... or €50 for unlimited properties. We have no desire to start charging anytime soon though.
What do I get for my money?
If you own a property to rent, then advertising on BuyYourHoliday.com couldn't be easier. You don't need to understand html or other internet technologies. Your property rental/sales page will be automatically created by our wizard. All you need to do is follow the wizard steps through to completion, review your listing and click finish; you’re then ready to start taking bookings. You will benefit from the website being marketed worldwide on your behalf, reaching far more potential customers than you would have time to do yourself.
What information do I need to add to my listing to promote my property?
To make life simple for you, BuyYourHoliday.com have created standard fields for many of the Property and Resort/Area Features that many property owners wish to select and promote. As it is not possible to list everything, there are also three "free text" areas:
Short Description: Where you can promote your property with a small taster to gain potential clients' interest Call it a "Headline" if you will.
Description: Room for a more indepth description of your property - your chance to shine!
Price, Terms, & Payment: Where you can list your pricing, as well as any special offers you may have. When running special offers, be sure to drop us an email so we can help promote you in the best ways possible.
What format should my photos be in?
Photos must be jpeg files (.jpg ending to the image file). If you are able to set or resize the images we recommend setting them to roughly 450 pixels wide. The file size should be no greater than 100K otherwise they will take too long to appear for visitors to your page. You can normally edit your images on your computer using image software such as Paint, Paint Shop Pro or PhotoShop. If you struggle to sort your photos into this format you can email them to us at: info@buyyourholiday.com We will then resize and rename your files, and return them to you ready for uploading.

You can of course replace the URL with one from the direct page of your property on this website. Simply copy and paste the correct URL from the white bar at the top of the screen.
If you would prefer to display a banner for us on your website, then simply drop us an email with the dimensions and format you would prefer.
How do I make changes to my property listing once it has been published?
When you register with BuyYourHoliday.com you are able to use your unique username and password (chosen on signup) to logon to your account admin to change details, add/remove photos, If you experience any difficulties then we have an experienced team on hand to advise you.
Do I have to keep my Availability Calendar up to date?
It is not compulsory that you keep Availability Calendar up to date, but it would be beneficial to all concerned that you do. There are a number of reasons for this. Firstly, if potential clients are using the availability filter when they search, you are more likely to only receive booking enquiries for weeks that are genuinely available, thus saving you the time and trouble of replying to the many emails often received for the popular holiday periods.
How will I be notified of booking enquiries?
Your property listing will provide holiday makers with the ability to contact you by email. We weed all spam mail for you, and forward emails within 24 hours (usually a lot less!) By using our simple online form holidaymakers can contact you via email which will capture all the necessary information for you to choose to accept or decline a booking.
